GlobalMed is seeking a skilled and driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee our key financial and accounting functions, strategic financial planning and funding. This individual will collaborate with the executive team and board of director members to drive the success and financial growth of the company.
Reporting Relationships:
The CFO will report directly to the CEO
Direct reports to the CFO are the Controller and management of the PEO
Professional Responsibilities:
Oversee and monitor all aspects of financial reporting and accounting in a complex reporting structure as well as regulatory compliance and tax considerations.
Continually monitor financial performance and perform cash flow analysis. Maintain transparent and frequent communication regarding key financial metrics with CEO and board members.
Support Controller as needed during annual audits, and tax filings. Manage relationships with internal and external auditors.
Identify risk management controls and processes.
Define expectations and KPI`s for short and long term results in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Define, establish and reinforce the top 3 quality measurements across the finance and accounting functions and assure top performance across all measurements.
Continually identify and develop effective measurements as the financial operations mature with the growth of the company; then apply these effectively.
Review strategic client, vendor contracts and agreements. Coordinate with legal counsel as needed.
Review and manage employee benefits plan for most effective return.
Professional Requirements and Preferences:
Qualifications:
Proven financial and accounting management acumen in a high growth environment.
A minimum of ten years of prior work experience and a broad knowledge of financial business practices.
Proven experience in:
Compliance and a regulatory environments.
Accurate and timely financial reporting.
Strategic financial planning.
Cash flow analysis and forecasting.
Proven experience in raising capital from outside funding sources of all types: commercial banks, private equity firms, strategic investors, financial investors, etc.
Highly skilled in effective oral and written communications.
Bachelor`s degree in Accounting or Finance
Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAP
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience in either a high tech environment or a manufacturing environment with high tech processes.
Thorough understanding of cost accounting.
Experience in either a private or publicly held for-profit company.
Experience in taking a company from private to public.
Experience in public company reporting.
Experience working in an ISO 9001, 13485 and FDA regulated environment.
Master`s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration and CPA Designation a plus
