• The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of TVI`s marketing and advertising initiatives.
• Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CMO`s primary responsibility is to generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing for the entire organization, using market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising and public relations.
Responsibilities
• Provide vision and leadership for all marketing led initiatives.
• Plan and oversee spending of TVI`s marketing budget
• Mentor, motivate and lead a junior marketing team including analysts, digital marketing coordinators
• Assist management in defining and identifying potential sales targets, new verticals and channel partnership opportunities.
• Develop segmentation, competitive analysis / market intelligence, prospecting, lead generation, product and market development, pricing, promotions, communications and budgets, sales force effectiveness, strategic planning, services units and revenue retention and growth.
• Develop a corporate understanding of brand`s business risks, competitive landscape, and industry-wide (or niche) opportunities
• Define the competitive marketplace, our position in it and how we achieve a unique value proposition
• Develop and nurture senior-level relationships with existing clients / direct prospects.
• Identify strategic partners that will have a positive impact on revenue generation and define tactics around introductions.
• Prepare and conduct presentations that demonstrate an understanding of a client or strategic partner`s objectives and TVI`s proposed solutions and partnership strategy.
• Build a positive social image via public relations campaigns, targeted advertising, social networking / online community engagement
• Develop programs with quantifiable objectives to measure results.
• Must be willing to travel for face-to-face meetings within the domestic US but most activity expected in New York.
Qualifications
• Bachelor`s degree, preferably with a concentration in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising or related field. An advanced degree in marketing or business (MBA) is preferred.
• The top candidate will need to understand target market and enhance the company`s brand by reinforcing the value proposition via all available marketing channels.
• 10+ years of marketing experience with recent and significant experience in a marketing leadership
• Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, sales and business development
• Proven track record of success of driving the overall success of a marketing organization
• Must be someone who is really excited by a challenge and being part of a growth machine. An energetic individual with a strong sense of urgency.
• Experienced working in an ever changing environment is strongly preferred
• Possess a strong track record of developing successful, innovative and cost effective marketing campaigns.
• Expert level experience using analytics to drive marketing efforts
