Who we`re looking for:
The VP of Finance/CFO will build a team to support the financial strategy and planning of our businesses and aggregate key financial metrics to support the continued growth of our business. The position will play an integral role in leading the monthly, quarterly, annual and long‐term planning processes. As a member of the senior leadership team this role will work closely and productively with executive management to influence, refine and implement strategy. The ideal candidate will have worked in a high growth and successful company and can bring those experiences to our company as we continue to change the mobile gaming space.
What you`ll do:
Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Finance/CFO will have sole responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day financial management of the company including:
the preparation and closing of the monthly finances
management of GL accounts
annual audits and submission of government and related tax returns
Financial planning and modeling
Provide financial and operational metrics and analytics to executive management.
Develop and implement business process improvement initiatives and strategies.
Increase the company`s ability to anticipate business issues and drive good decision-making through sound financial management.
Manage Finance/Accounting, HR, Legal and Admin teams
Further develop guidelines and processes corresponding to the rapid growth of the company.
Continually review accounting policies and procedures to ensure that the company is compliant with GAAP and statutory accounting
Improve existing reliable forecasting tools (P&L, cash flow and balance sheet).
Your Skillz:
Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
C.P.A., M.B.A. or master`s degree in finance is preferred
8+ years combined hands-on experience in either:
An accounting and financial management function in a start-up or growing company
At a national accounting/audit firm
Experience in the technology industry and familiarity with software GAAP revenue recognition
Broad range of capabilities that include being a strategic leader and an executor that can communicate problems and the solutions. Ability to interact with and influence people at all levels of an organization.
High degree of financial, analytical and process leadership and business acumen
Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills for budgeting/forecasting combined with a strong attention to detail
Ability to present complex information in a usable format to a diverse audience
Experience establishing and implementing and adhering to process improvement initiatives within a high growth environment
M&A experience and Business Development experience is a plus
