The mission of Fremont Public Schools is to produce creative, adaptable, productive citizens committed to lifelong learning. Further, it is the goal of the Fremont Public Schools to provide an educational program that will produce productive citizens prepared to successfully compete in the twenty-first century global society. Fremont Public Schools carries accreditation with the Nebraska State Department of Education as well as certification of regional quality. In April 2007 our school system became the first public school system in the state to receive “District Accreditation” which is the highest level granted by AdvancED, a regional accreditation agency. With that recognition, which is never guaranteed and cannot ever be taken for granted, Fremont joined a small handful of other districts in meeting those rigorous requirements. In April of 2011, Fremont Public Schools became the first school district in Nebraska to receive a five-year extension of that classification.
