Role:
The position reports directly to the CEO and manages multiple marketing units throughout ORC US. The CMO will provide the leadership to increase marketplace awareness and differentiation of ORC/Engine business intelligence offerings. Possessing a strong entrepreneurial spirit, the CMO will have the know-how to effectively navigate and contribute in a highly matrixed environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead efforts to increase awareness of ORC/Engine with oversight and delivery of marketing communications to compellingly promote and differentiate services externally
• Manage the creation, packaging and delivery of ORC`s full line of product offerings.
• Identify industry events for ORC/Engine participation to increase awareness of ORC/Engine and its capabilities in concert with the Research Specialty/Product and Client Service Team heads and other Engine business heads
• Work with RS/Product heads to prioritize key pieces of collateral throughout the year as well as coordinating timing and execution of events with existing and potential clients.
• Manage the ORC/Engine content team to ensure ORC`s regional digital presence (website, blog, twitter, FB, as well as specific industry portals) is kept up to date with relevant engaging content for the audience.
• Oversee initiation of Customer Satisfaction measurement process and manage integration of that database with the CRM data
• Design and execute internal communications to support consistency in customer experience touchpoints across the organizations
• Manage and coordinate the regional marketing team and budget in coordination with Engine regional and global marketing colleagues
• Develop short list of potential award submissions from ORC and identify relevant award events for submission.
Global Responsibilities
• Works with ORC`s Executive Team to clarify and streamline ORC`s central and regional marketing functions within Engine/ORC`s global/hub-based matrix.
• Develops an annual Global Marketing Plan governing the functions, platforms and content that are managed at the global level.
• Connect ORC`s global functions (RSTs, RS, Caravan, Cassandra) to generate and deliver impactful marketing strategies for their offers.
• Partners with ORC`s Research Solutions Team to help position, package and deliver product offerings.
• Manages the ORC global corporate brand and website
• Manages and co-ordinates global/regional strategy for leveraging global digital/social channels.
• Manages the delivery of high impact "global" content
• Connects and co-ordinates regional marketing teams to surface, disseminate, leverage and inspire marketing best practice and content from around the ORC world.
• Connects and co-ordinates ORC`s regional marketing teams when required in support of global Engine initiatives.
Qualifications:
• 15+ years` experience and successful track record formulating and leading marketing strategy, implementation and team for B2B company(ies) which has resulted in incremental revenue and profit
• 10+ years proven managerial experience including planning, prioritizing and implementing marketing activities
