Transformational Senior Executive responsible for building a world-class marketing organization within a multi-faceted global professional services firm with revenues of $1.2B. Responsibilities include brand identity and awareness; market assessment and strategy; and marketing communications and advertising. The CMO is responsible for developing strategic marketing plans for the company and translating the overall strategy into tactical plans to accelerate growth.
The Chief Marketing Officer will report to the CEO, work closely with the C-suite and divisional resources, and lead a team of 30 Marketing and Brand Professionals.
Demand Generation and Lead Management
• Lead detailed analyses of ICF`s business development and marketing metrics to optimize investments.
• Develop the company`s market-specific lead generation capabilities across multiple business segments.
• Develop ICF`s global marketing communications materials including collateral and direct response programs, trade shows, and web/interactive/social media.
Customer Targeting and Solution Architecting
• Build understanding of market/consumer intelligence, competitive analysis, and metrics.
• Ensure rigor and discipline across company-wide programs that support integrated marketing and business development models.
• Work closely with ICF SMEs to develop and execute dynamic campaigns that drive growth for their target segments.
• Capitalize on Digital marketing and leverage the latest technologies and processes to leverage the ICF brand and serve timely and relevant content to support buyer and customer needs.
Operations:
• Lead, motivate and build the internal ICF Marketing talent base.
• Manage the marketing budget and drive strategic marketing investment planning
• Build the technology infrastructure, process, and metrics dashboards required to support the marketing function.
Marketing and Brand Strategy
• Act as thought-leader and change-agent for the ICF brand globally, including: all aspects of branding, public image; marketing and advertising strategy; external communications; public and industry relations and policy; media relations; sales campaigns, and marketing metrics.
• Lead ICF`s strategic brand messaging to all B2B/B2G customers, public/private sector clients, and partners.
• Measure, analyze and constantly improve the correlations between brand, marketing, customer insights, business intelligence and demonstrated sales results.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Track record as brand-builder, driving winning market strategies within a complex B2B marketing function.
• Marketing Leadership experience for a global professional consulting services firm with annual revenues above $1B
• 15+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, communications, media relations, client relations, etc.
• Leadership experience bridging and building synergies between Marketing and Sales functions.
• Demonstrated partnership with business leadership to help shape the business strategy, influence senior executives, and challenge the status quo in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.
• MBA with a Marketing focus or other related Advanced Degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated success leading the Marketing function with a global professional services consulting firm with a portfolio to include both Public and Private Sector business segments.
• Experience working with regulated industries such as Utilities is a plus.
• International experience preferred.
• Direct experience with firms such as Accenture, Deloitte, and PWC would be ideal.
