Fort Hays State University is a thriving liberal and applied arts, state-assisted institution in western Kansas with an enrollment of approximately 14,210 students. It has four colleges — Arts and Sciences, Education and Technology, Business and Entrepreneurship, and Health and Life Sciences — and a Graduate School. It also has a Virtual College that delivers courses electronically throughout Kansas and beyond. Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (also known as Rutgers University), is the largest institution for higher education in the state of New Jersey. It was originally chartered as Queen`s College in 1766 and is the eighth-oldest college in the United States.
