The Senior Director/ Vice President, Human Resources will provide the strategic thinking and practical, hands-on experience to lead human resource practices and own Leadership Hiring for the Americas. This position will work closely and collaborate with the VP, Shared Services based in India to create a global and diverse organization.
Responsibilities:
•Maintain and continuously strengthen one’s network with senior leaders in the Industry
•Evangelize the GEP brand in the talent market in the Americas – through one’s network, by attending conferences, etc.
•Capitalize on these relationships to convert them to hires as per business needs
•Partner with the leadership team to ensure alignment of Human Resources with the organizational growth strategy
•Ensure that a performance based mind-set is evident within the function and across the organization
•Consistently assess, monitor and be accountable for SLA’s within the HR organization including those for talent acquisition/recruitment, employee engagement, training and development teams etc.
•Provide guidance and counsel in the effective selection and retention of staff.
•Ensure policies, procedures and employment practices support the needs of the workforce and the
Organization and are in compliance with all laws and regulations.
Requirements:
•12+ years of experience in human resources management
•Experience working within a consulting or services firm
•Must have comprehensive knowledge of all human resources functions with significant experience in leading executive level talent acquisition
•Possess skills in strategic planning, recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, policy management and compliance
•Excellent operational skills
•Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferably from a Top Tier institution
•Masters certification preferred
