Equifax Canada Co. (d.b.a. Equifax Canada), at 5700 Yonge Street, Suite 700, Toronto, ON, M2M 4K2, seeks to fill the full-time position of Chief Marketing Officer in our Toronto, Ontario office, wherein the successful candidate will drive the transformation of Equifax`s business, delivering value added solutions to clients, and realizing its aggressive growth objectives. The Chief Marketing Officer will develop and implement a marketing strategy for Equifax Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• As a member of the Canadian leadership team, participate in the development of a clear organizational goal and strategy for Equifax Canada, including the development of vision, mission and guiding principles;
• Establish and implement a clear, targeted Equifax Canada growth strategy, focusing on the strategic direction of end-to-end marketing operations and including decisioning software and analytical and product innovation;
• Consult with Equifax Canada`s business consultants and sales teams to gather market information and voice of customer information in order to develop and deliver value added solutions for clients;
• Develop and lead the implementation of an overall strategic roadmap of products and solutions, that would be implemented, enhanced and created by Equifax Canada`s marketing team personnel and executed by the sales and business consulting teams;
• Formulate a strategy that prioritizes the Equifax Canada`s Data 360 degree plan initiatives, successfully balancing growth initiatives and aggressive profit expectations, and delivering the product development and marketing strategy to be implemented by Equifax Canada for International, with the goal of strengthening the brand reputation of Equifax Canada in complimentary markets;
• Continually monitor the market to determine market size and market penetration of the company`s products in order to test and analyze the success of current systems and processes as well as newly formulated go-to-market strategies;
• Develop and implement a structured branding and communication strategy, including media communications.
• Create and execute on a phased implementation business plan suggesting both near and long-term transformation and conversion steps by focusing on efficient and impactful go-to-market strategy, branding and sourcing methodologies;
• Drawing on emerging trends and best in class ideas within the global marketplace to recommend changes to the applicable existing assets and prioritizing processes and methods to effectively employ and maximize resources; and
• Provide mentorship and development to the marketing team and build a quality succession bench.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• At least five years of experience within the credit bureau and analytic insights industry, specializing in technology and analytics product development and marketing. The successful candidate must understand the interchange between global and regional decisioning and fraud technology;
• 1-2 years of Strategy development and management consulting experience, particularly in the areas of customer experience, improving sales and operational efficiencies;
• Ten or more years` experience leading teams of at least 20 professionals in project management, product development, and Business Unit capacities;
• Ten or more years leading a marketing department, including international experience covering projects across countries/regions, within a highly matrixed global organization;
• At least 10 years developing or leading the development of software decisioning products/tools, preferably working for a major software company, major technology consultancies, or global consultancy organization; and
• Masters of Business Administration.
