Reporting to the Vice President and head of Human Resources, the HR Director, Clinical Divisions will serve as a member of the HR Leadership Team and fulfill the important role of strategic business partner to the clinical services organization, a group of clinical talent making up 2/3 of CCA’s employee population. The incumbent will engage with senior leaders as a trusted advisor and coach, will proactively partner and collaborate in support of senior leader initiatives and will drive the establishment of best-in-class HR practices, services and solutions in support of the strategies, priorities and tactical realities of CCA’s clinical services organization. This role will also play an integral part in the rebuild and redesign of CCAs human resources organization. Evolving the function to one seen as a trusted and reliable partner in all human resources matters, a leader in the building of organizational effectiveness and high employee engagement, an agent of change as CCA continues to transform, and a champion of the CCA culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish credibility with clinical leadership, earning their trust as a business partner.
Serve as coach, advisor and counsel to clinical leaders in support of key organizational and management issues
Closely partner with business leaders and managers on developing key leadership and management behaviors – supporting and driving the continued improvement of managerial practices in areas such as employee communication, staff development and performance management.
Contribute key human resource perspectives, and facilitate the development of plans and strategies, in support of organizational focus, efficiency, speed, and other organizational goals.
Develop and implement change management strategies that support the critical evolution of the clinical services organization and achieve desired business results that are sustainable over time.
Work closely with leaders, managers and employees to ensure all have a proper understanding and interpretation of human resources related policies and procedures.
Promote a fair, respectful, diverse and high-performing work culture by working closely with managers, employees, HR colleagues and others to effectively manage all employee relations items through to proper and timely closure.
Collaborate with clients and colleagues to assess organizational performance, define talent gaps and propose and deliver HR solutions that support the objectives of the clinical services organization. Partner closely with HR colleagues to design, develop and deliver integrated solutions to clients
Lead, drive and participate in key projects that establish new foundational processes and programs that are driven by the business, support the ongoing transformation of CCA, and drive the continued evolution of HR and HR services.
Build and manage a team of HR generalists responsible for delivering high quality HR services and effective employee relations support to the Clinical Services division.
Lead, mentor, guide and coach direct reports and HR colleagues, driving practices and behaviors toward a best-in-class, high performing HR culture.
Capable of efficiently and effectively handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.
Build deep and trusting relationships with clients, peers and colleagues
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. An MBA or related Master’s degree is preferred.
10 + years of applicable HR experience with a preference for experience in healthcare.
7+ years serving as a successful HR leader.
Deep knowledge and understanding of best-in-class HR practices gained through past practical application.
Prove ability to coach senior leaders toward an organizational high bar.
Prior experience supporting an organization going through rapid change and growth where HR played a strong supportive and strategic role.
Prior experience working for an organization characterized by high service levels, employee engagement and a culture of accountability
Strategic business orientation and acumen and the ability to define and prioritize efforts based on business direction and needs.
Established track record of driving and delivering results.
