JOB SUMMARY
We are a highly successful sales and service company seeking a Human Resources leader for our corporate headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. In addition to managing day-to-day human resources activities (supporting a $200+ million revenue business with over five hundred associates in five states), you`ll shape and execute the company`s growth and HR strategy. As a member of the executive team, the Director of HR will manage both the day-to-day tactical needs and design/execute the people strategy to ensure our planned growth is supported. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of HR is a strategic business partner to the leadership team and will lead and direct organizational development and talent management including talent acquisition, succession planning and associate development. The Director of HR will also lead activities related to performance management, compensation planning, policy and program development, employee relations, safety, and enterprise benefits and procedures.
This is a dynamic role that relies on your strong generalist experience, resourcefulness and responsiveness in a fast paced environment. This role requires a hands-on leader, motivator, team builder and communicator.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor`s degree, ideally in Human Resources, Business or related field, as well as PHR, SPHR or other relevant professional certification.Master`s degree preferred.
• 10+ years related experience.
• Significant broad experience in HR, including larger, complex organizations with multiple locations domestically.
• A track record of success in developing and implementing successful HR programs, particularly in the areas of organizational development and management development.
• Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate with business leaders and employees to effectively drive change and achieve business goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate and influence at a senior management level.
• Ability to thrive in a rapid-paced and dynamic business environment.
• Knowledge of accepted training and development practices.
